100k Revenue in First Year. Found business partner through craigslist. Launching a new project in 4 days.

Hey guys! Me and /u/rsully25 are long time lurkers of /r/entrepreneur.

Figured I'd post our stories about how we got started!

So about 2 years ago I posted on Reddit looking for new business ideas here I resonated with one of those comments really well and I went forward with creating my first business!

Fast forward to 2015 my project was finally launched started picking up some traction. This was a totally solo project until December. I did $99,708.00 in revenue the first year.

But I really wanted to scale this project much faster and if I wanted to do that, I knew I needed people. So in December 2015 I put up an ad on craigslist looking for an employee who wanted to work at a start-up.

That's when I met /u/rsully25 He had just quit his job to work on his own business. A Travel Apparel company. In the meantime, he needed a part-time job so he could survive.

I hired him.

Fast-forward 3 months. We working together really well and I brought up the idea of applying his clothing technology to the Fitness industry. We decided to partner up on it with another athlete that I had met while filming in the gym. Now we are working on launching a Kickstarter campaign for the project, which is launching on April 12th.

I personally LOVE hearing about the REAL stories behind creating a business. What really goes on behind the scenes.

SO we've also started our own Vlog on YouTube to document our journey. (It really helps keep us on track too!).

We aren't a VC funded business. We aren't "Business Guru's". We don't have money. We don't have incredible connections. We are just 2 normal dudes trying our damn hardest to make shit happen.

If you have ANY questions please feel free to ask :).
