Best cloud-based team collaboration tool that includes a good task management tool

Hi all, I am currently considering to impose using Slack where I work, however, as far as I can tell the biggest thing missing is a functional taskbar with each employee and groups.

Anyone has advice on some great apps/web tools that could do that?
