Best way to post small image gallery to business Facebook page

My partner has a mobile hair extensions business and I'm managing her site and social media etc. What's the best way to go about posting new work on Facebook?

Sounds easy right? But...

When I post a link to my blog post, Facebook creates a nice series of images from the blog which can be clicked through. However, that means that the Facebook page doesn't contain the images itself (when someone clicks on Photos within FB).

When I post photos to Facebook in an album, it generates a couple on top of each other, not side-by-side (not ideal for before and after pics) etc. Is the carousel feature just for adverts? Or can it be used for photo posting too? Any help much appreciated. Thanks
