Collaboration success stories

I thought it would be cool for us to have a regular thread where we talk about successful collaborations that came from the subreddit. It would be a cool way for us to share what we're working on and sort of give reviews on each other. I'll start:

I'm a graphic designer wanting to get into infographics. I knew I could make them well, but didn't have any examples to show. I offered to do one for free in here for the first person to send me data and /u/nomadtobe responded and we got to talking.

He runs Jumpanzee which is essentially a small business design firm, so now we're in talks for him to outsource some of the design work to me. He also pointed me to a facebook group called Groove Learning, which is turning out to be a very active community that is dedicated to helping each other out. A lot of them seem to be doing the maid business thing.

So he got a free infographic, I got the potential for future work and tuned in to a good network.
