Dropshipping from China if you're in the UK

Hi all

I recently bought a product from Aliexpress and despite it being shipped to the wrong destination initially I was happy with the purchase. The item cost me about £40 less from Aliexpress than the cheapest on Amazon.

I was wondering if there's a possibility of setting up a dropshipping arrangement where a customer orders from me and the factory ship the product directly to the customer.

The problem is, there's a bit of a random chance the product could be stopped by UK Customs and then a series of taxes and customs charges would be added. I've looked at the UK Customs pages but it's a bit of a mess, I was wondering if any of you have experience of dealing with UK customs and am I just wasting my time here?
