I recently canceled my Shopify account to switch to Wordpress (I wanted the monthly cost savings). When I canceled I was prompted with an ad for another product they own, GoSpaces.com. You can create a basic but nice looking website for free with no monthly fee. There are no fees for the first $50 of sales. After that it's $9 a month plus a 3% transaction fee.
The website is very basic - just one page. But it can be created in a matter of minutes so it would be prefect to test a MVP. It's extremely simple to start (plus free). I thought it might be useful to some people here. I had never heard of it before and even googling it doesn't turn up much information. I hope this can help your business.
