I have a great idea but no money and poor credit- what do I do?

I have an great idea that I know will be a hit but I don't have any money and I have bad credit.

I don't know if I should give my idea to a company who is a big deal in that field or try and find somebody to get my idea out. I don't want to be scammed out of my idea either.

Does anybody know what to do in my situation?
