I'm getting a LOT of positive results on Reddit with my phone case, but can't find a place to actually sell it

Hey All! I make laser cut maps. We have a few product lines but the most recent one we are working on is wooden-engraved cell phone cases. They're really beautiful and fairly economical, so I expected them to be a hit. I posted in a couple city-specific subreddits to see how the people in those cities liked the designs, and every post I did was top of the subreddit, here's chicago's: http://ift.tt/1oMmhS0

Each time these turned into sales (Sold maybe 20 or so from the Chicago post). We ran a sale on Jane.com (Which is aimed at women) which has a few million subscribers and sold a total of 11 phone cases over 3 days. To give you an idea, our 5x7" framed maps (same price point) sold 1300 over 3 days back in February. I know Reddit and Jane have completely different demographics, but Im getting CRAZY good feedback on here, yet selling like crap on the sites we try to run sales on. We also sell the cases on The Grommet, which moves a lot of our other maps, but they are thinking about discontinuing the phone cases due to low sales. I can't figure it out! It seems they have great potential, and people are willing to purchase them, however whenever they are sold in an official setting they sell like crap

One possibility is that the photos I post in the subreddits are just me holding the case, not any official product shot. Perhaps that gives it a more 'maker' feel?
