Greetings fellow entrepreneurs! My wife and I launched a software company late last year (with an iPad app as MVP and plans to expand to SAAS and other platforms). Our app is very niche with about 1000 users and a handful of IAP purchases.
My wife works on business development, I work on product development. To do justice to our venture we have much more work to do to reach the desired critical mass to attract serious, paid subscribers. Basically, we have our work cut out for us for at least another year.
Combine this with the fact that we both work full time, and we have two children in primary school. Both my wife's and my families are interstate. We both have our MBAs.
I'm curious to learn the experience of others in similar predicaments. What work/life balance did you strike? How did you manage your startup time? At what point did you 'take the plunge' and drop to single income?
In short: How did you guys do it? Edit: How did it turn out for you guys?
