Need a little help getting niche directory profitable

Hi Reddit, i run Public Access Golf an Australian Golf Course directory (we have 1500 golf courses in Australia mate!). The site attracts 10,000 golfers through the gates every month (80%) new traffic and has just undergone a big redevelopment.

The plan to monetize the site was to charge the golf courses a subscription fee to have their listings upgraded. Paid plans start at just AU$99 per year and include social media promotion, links to their websites and a more detailed listing.

I've had ~10 courses get in contact and i have sent through This INFO PDF and whilst no one has said no yet, no one has jumped onto a paid listing either.

What additional value can i offer golf courses to sign on? or should i be looking at another monetization avenue?
