Payment processor: which one to use in EU?

I'm looking for a payment gateway to integrate in our Saas product. Our company (Redokun) is based in Italy and I'm evaluating the most common solutions to accept payments worldwide: Stripe, Paymill and Braintree.

Question EU companies: what is your experience with them?

In short, right now we handle the payments manually via wire transfer or Paypal, but US and Canada customers prefer to pay via CC and we don't have a solution for that at the moment, so we're thinking about implementing a payment gateway in the subscription process.

Also, wire transfers are awfully expensive, so we'd rather use CC payments instead since it would be cheaper for both us and the clients.

Among the 3 payment processors, the best so far (at least on paper) seems to be Braintree (faster support response, Paypal integration), but I could not find much about Paymill.
