I know...
I know what half of you are going to tell me, that college won't do much for me as far as being an Entrepreneur goes, that I'm wasting money, etc. I've heard it all, and definitely appreciate the insight, and I can see where it is coming from. The reality is that it is not an opportunity I'm willing to give up, especially given the assets available to me which lighten the load of personal debt.
With that out of the way, I'm curious as to what many of you believe is the best route to take on this subject. Those of you that did not go to college, what would you major in if your hand was forced? Those of you that did, what did you major in? If you could change that, would you?
I figure I might as well provide my own answer, so personally, I am currently majoring in Entrepreneurship (I'm a Freshman), although upon further research, I'm not so sure that's the best choice in order to maximize my options, as well as provide a decent blanket of safety. I'm leaning toward a major that seems applicable to Entrepreneurship, such as Marketing or Management. I've been particularly interested in a Digital Marketing major, which seems to be focused on many of the marketing issues and techniques I've seen discussed on this very subreddit, as well as by other online entrepreneurs.
