Very low priced big brand name electronic goods on Alibaba

I am looking at reselling big brand name electronic goods (mainly computer components) from Alibaba on Amazon. However the products are less than half the price on Alibaba and with a minimum order of only two items. I am struggling to believe the legitimacy of these products on Alibaba as they are being sold so cheaply. But surely it would be illegal to advertise rip-offs as genuine articles?? I don't know what to think.
