Best strategy to get a food product into US.

Success has a lot to do with your sense of being Find out how to train yourself to make money and stay in tune with your mind, body and soul

I know of a food product based off seaweed. Its from Japan and very good quality. Very niche of course.

I created a website and started selling it because i wanted to test the waters.

From initial testing and with no advertising to speak of, I have managed to sell a few thousand dollars worth, mostly to US customers. Now even restaurants are contacting me because they want to buy in bulk to incorporate it into their recipes.

How should I progress from here? The japanese company has shown interest in speaking with me to work out a deal. I intend to ask for better pricing and exclusive rights to sell outside japan.

For the US side, i'm kinda lost. I think if i just stayed with my single website, and then put money into marketing, it could work but it would be slow and arduous. Also very limited exposure. Plus i suck at mkting and social media(hate it).

Would Amazon be a viable solution? How hard would it be to have a food item listed on Amazon? The only ingredient is literally seaweed. Do i have to have English labels?

Any other input welcome!
