C-Corp or LLC? Forming business in US externally

Success has a lot to do with your sense of being Find out how to train yourself to make money and stay in tune with your mind, body and soul

Hey, I'm interested in forming an online business in the US from Australia. This is because there is a much bigger market for what I'm doing, which is easier to target in the US, and then expand out further to other countries.

I was originally interested in Stripe Atlas, which seemed perfect, (expect having to wait for a beta code, which is possibly a significant delay) however they only do C Corp's not LLC's.

Therefore my questions are:

  • For an e-commerce business starting in the US from Australia, would a C-Corp or LLC be more suitable?

  • How difficult is it to set up the business + bank account on your own instead of through a service such as Stripe Atlas?

  • Would it be possible for me to use Stripe Atlas to setup an C Corp and then change the business to an LLC? Would this even be worth it?

Cheers
