[Ecommerce] How long did it take before your first real customer? What was it attributed to?

Success has a lot to do with your sense of being Find out how to train yourself to make money and stay in tune with your mind, body and soul

Hi -

I started a baby / toddler shoes dropshipping company a few days ago (www.qtbabyshoes.com).

What allowed you to get your first set of initial customers? Was it focused FB ads, Google adwords, Influencer, Social Media platforms?

  • My current customers have been friends who bought just to support me and I'm really looking forward to my first legit customer.

  • Currently I've been doing a mix of FB and Google Ads and am getting traffic but no conversions.

  • Thank you for any contribution and answers and I will post when I get my first customer and how I got it!!

Background of why I did this if you're curious x-post from /r/entrepreneur

Hi. There were a lot of great threads about dropshipping that inspired me to just try:

This guy who made $3MM Gross Revenue Dropshipping. /r/kalvel is the redditor and he is the founder of Oberlo which integrates Aliexpress Products into Shopify seamlessly. Thank you!

This dude who netted $2k a day selling a single product dropshipping. /r/theidiotceo is the resource on this. Thanks for your presence and contribution to the community.

/r/the_cunt_muncher is also well versed, informed and successful in the dropshipping arena as well. Thank you.

Here's my site: www.qtbabyshoes.com For those doing google adwords / fbadwords, are there any tricks or things I should be monitoring? I've spent about $10 bucks and my current KPI is CTR but ultimately it's conversions and I haven't seen any.

Looking for input on how to effectively market to kick start sales. For those interested in trying here's literally what I did:

Thought about niches by browsing FB, my home, etc

Saw a product category, started to Google opportunities

Went on AliExpress to see margins

Created a Shopify Account

Used Oberlo, a product by /r/kalvel, which is a super easy tool to just have a product queue with images and details copied from Alibaba into Shopify directly

When using Shopify, I literally just copied graphics and used different free programs to adjust pixel counts and produce graphics.

P.S: If you are interested in making money on-line, there are many avenues you can explore. Click here to get my step by step guide on how to this. I break down all the details for you and give you some useful resources and tools
