Question is very simple: I love my friends, they're mostly life long ones who I have a lot of fun with, but they're all chronically unproductive and make it really tough to have the high octane motivation I need to keep my entrepreneurial engine running. I know the idea is to surround yourself with like minded people, and I have made some great contacts so far, but those who I spend a large amount of my socializing time with are very much "live in the now" people who are functionally uninterested in any of my endeavors. How do you guys manage your relationship with counterproductive friends?
