I have a great idea, but it's for a complicated website, and I'm studying mechanical engineering...

I come up with a lot of business ideas- this is the first one I've loved, not because I think it can make me a lot of money, but because I truly feel really passionate about what it can do. I think this is my dream to create.

Problem is, I'm studying mechanical engineering. I know a little bit of VBA and MATLAB, I don't even know what language I would need to learn to make a website!

I told my idea to my friend who is in computer science, and he's really really good at what he does. He says it sounds too hard for him to help me with.

What can I do? Where can I go?

I don't feel like I can do this on my own, and I don't know anyone who can help me. How can I go about getting someone who knows how to make websites? How do I even begin to make this a business?

Any help would be really really appreciated, I'm sorry for being vague. Thanks.
