Is it legal to copy other website's Wordpress theme's layout?

I'm creating a WP theme from scratch, and I created something very similar to what already exists. I liked some of that website's parts, and I want to include them as well, making my theme look almost identical to theirs. No graphics or anything copyrighted are used; just about 80% of the layout and positioning.

Is this legal?
