I've written a few articles about what running a small business has taught me.

I started a clothing business back in 2008 when I was still a teenager. Since then I have studied at uni and graduated while running the clothing business alongside doing freelance graphic design, content creation, and social media marketing.

For a while however I put my business to one side and tried to go down the route of building a career by working for someone else. I've done some bizarre jobs in the past but working in marketing really opened my eyes to what I wanted from life and how an office job made me feel.

After quitting my job I felt like the best course of action would be to relaunch the clothing business and try and find some new clients to work for independently. I also decided to start a magazine after thinking about it for far too long. I figured that writing down my experiences would be useful to me as a reminder of things that I have learnt along the way but also to hopefully inspire other people to go after things they want, and learn from my mistakes!
