Question about "early bird" pricing deadlines and discounts

Quick question, everybody. I have a podcast and I am going to a related event which I'll be "reporting from" on the podcast (interviews, etc).

I sent out a pricing proposal to some companies and told them I'd give them 30% off my "card rate" if they signed by April 15. Today, one of them said they were interested and to send a proposal with pricing.

Should I still offer the 30% off or stick to the higher card rate? There's no specific, compelling reason for the higher price, I was just trying to motivate companies to sign.

Background: if I land this ad spot at the 30% off rate, it'll pay for my travel to the event. The extra 30% would be useful, but not as needed.
