Should I trademark my "company" name?

I recently started a one man (me) marketing operation for a very niche market. It's been picking up lately and I am wondering if I should trademark or copyright my name.

I have the domain name for my "company" and am operating mostly through there and social media (same name). I have a logo and have been doing work for some companies. The domain name and social media accounts are all under the name of my company.

I apologize if this is a dumb question. I know I should have worried about this earlier, but I didn't expect for this to pick up.

I have zero experience with this area, so the simplest explanation will be really appreciated.

I'm generating very minimal money, so I can't really afford to hire a lawyer or seek legal advice.
