I want customers to pay me $20/hr to place calls on their behalf in order to haggle down the asking price on various craigslist postings they're considering.
Say they want to buy an old F150... they send me three links and ask me to haggle the sellers down to their rock-bottom price point. One of them tells me the price is firm. The other reduces the asking price by $100, the third by $150.
I thank them, get off the phone and send the results back to my customer. Many people dislike negotiation and haggling. They don't feel comfortable doing it themselves. But if they can pick up the truck at a discount and save more than they pay me in "haggling fees," I've added value for them and deserve a profit.
Haggler-for-hire. What do you think?
