Hello everyone! Long time reader, first time poster here. I have an idea in which I think I could do pretty well for some probably small-time side cash - let me pitch it and let me know if you think this is feasible.

Background: I work for an interactive guidance SaaS company that provides help to users organization-wide in the form of balloons and tooltips. A high-level example of the product would be, if reddit were a customer, a tutorial like "how to format a comment" where a series of balloons tells the user how to open the comment dialogue box and then what to type to achieve the desired results. You can also see an example of the platform live on an external environment by going to walkme.com and clicking the widget at the bottom right. Keep in mind this tool is extremely powerful and can do a lot of cool stuff. I am an expert at building these solutions using the tool.

Important info: this product is sold on a company-wide basis. Companies/websites embed a javascript code which pulls the tutorial content onto their page, enabling users to interact with it.

Caveat: content can also be loaded via a simple browser extension.

Idea/$$$: Build content for ANY website that users would need to learn - then sell these preferably advanced functions of LinkedIn, Ebay, Twitter, etc. to individual users via a browser extension.

Basically, this requires zero investment on my part other than building the solutions with the tool. The extension creator already exists.

Questions for you

• Do you think this is a sensible/profitable idea?

• What would be the strategy in marketing/selling this?

• Can you think of any particularly difficult/long html/web based processes that individuals would be inclined to buy?
