So right around two years ago in college my roommate and I started our own company. We are an online ecommerce site that sells custom flags (UniversityCustoms.com). Two years later, with some admitted luck, we are doing six figures in revenue. But we think there is more, shit at least we hope.

What makes us unique, and the reason we make money, is because we have no minium order quantity (MOQ) and we are still just about the lowest priced custom flag out there ($29.99). We are able to have no MOQ because of the agreement we came to early on with our manufacturer, and are blessed to have this agreement.

We have done really well with custom one offs (especially in the music festival market) but are goal is to start closing larger accounts (80-20 rule). We are able to offer some unique bulk discounts that most companies cannot but I think we are having trouble conveying that and showing the benefits.

What is unique: Because we offer no MOQ our bulk discounts are based off of TOTAL number of flags, not just for one design. For instance a customer could order 20 different designs, 10 flags of each. And get the Bulk pricing for 200 flags. (compared to our competitors 20 orders at their ten flag break)

Ideal customer: We believe our ideal customer is merch businesses or businesses that sell their designs on many mediums already. Our goal is these companies that would order 50 flags of each design for resale. Flags are really broad and we see our products used by college kids, music festivals, small businesses, graphic artists etc.

We are just a little stuck and I would love any help or opinions people have to offer! We are getting a little down, because we are busting our asses day in and day out , and feel it getting closer...yet get stuck again.
