I have an app idea, but can't personally make the app. What should I have ready before I take it to a developer?

Success has a lot to do with your sense of being Find out how to train yourself to make money and stay in tune with your mind, body and soul

Looking to minimize cost of developing an app idea I have. Has anyone ever been in a similar situation?

At the moment, this app is just an idea. Nothing is written down about it. I have a pretty clear idea of who the customer is, why they would use the app, why the app would eliminate pain points, and how to market it. I have a name in mind. I have some graphic design experience.

What should I have prepared when approaching developers? What can I do to protect my idea when presenting to developers? Any experience working with local developers as opposed to remote developers through freelancing sites?
