We have a fully built iOS app "Zippity Parking" in the store, and we're working on the Android app. We consider ourselves the Uber for parking. We interviewed 128 people in the DC area, and 112 of them were dissatisfied with current parking solutions. On top of that it is estimated that up to 30% of city traffic is people looking for parking, and an average motorist will spend 106 days of their lives looking for parking. We want to drastically reduce those numbers. So what's different about our app?
We're the only parking app that let's you reserve spots for as long as you want. This eliminates refilling the meter, and guessing how long your reservation will be. Furthermore, Zippity is the only app that let's you reserve a local spot with a single tap. Since most people look for parking when they're in their car, convenience and speed is a must. We list, market and monetize your parking spots for you. Zippity keeps track of every individual spot, and our self reporting system makes sensors, parking lot attendants, and ticketing kiosks redundant.
Zippity has a fair pricing algorithm, so it takes away the headaches of renting an affordable spot from owners and renters. Owners may also set their own flat rate. Zippity has a simple business model. Zippity takes a flat 10% transaction fee on every reservation.
We need your help. We've recently launched and want to bring on hustlers and sales pros for each major city. We're a couple of engineers wanting to join forces with sales/marketing minds. We're prepared to offer stock, and eventually salary when we receive funding.
