Can anyone tell me more about how to spot if "My Online Business Education" or "My Online Business Empire" is a bad scam or not?

I know nothing about it, and apparently tonight my GF signed us up for a free workshop.

First thing that caught my attention was when I googled the creator/CEO of "MOBE" I saw

Some results may have been removed under data protection law in Europe

Second thing, the registration/email confirmation for the free event my GF got, I signed up for and ended up in my hotmail SPAM folder.

[2] flags already, and then I come to realize the MOBE business is registered in Malaysia.

Any thoughts, experiences or so?
