I have never started a business and have always dreamed of working for myself. Many of the articles that I read are about how certain trips or experiences sparked the beginning of their Entrepreneur stories.

Next year, I have decided to take a trip to Asia (China in particular, but open to other countries) in order to broaden my scope of intelligence with a focus on business. This trip is mainly for learning rather than fun or food. Hopefully I can absorb as much as possible and bring back something that will help me in my quest for starting my own business. The fun for me in this trip will be mainly surrounding myself in a new culture when I am there and in the preparation beforehand but would love to set myself up in terms of gaining a business mindset.

I was wondering if anyone had any travels in the past help them begin their business when they started from nothing like me.
