Our eCommerce business is doing fairly well and we became one of the bigger players in our niche. We think that it's time to explore new markets, and since europe is the second biggest market for eCommerce in the world it's only logical to make it the next target. And since europe consist of a lot of countries with different laws and regulations we decided to begin with Germany.

Why Germany and not the UK you ask?

While Germany is only the second biggest market for eCommerce behind the UK, it offers a better opportunity to expand to surrounding markets since it's more central and doesn't require additional transport by sea. On top of that, who knows how long the UK will stay in the EU and give up it's cross border trading benefits...

So now that we decided on a country we need a way to locally store our products in Germany. Shipping them to the location shouldn't be much of an issue (there are plenty of freigth forwarders), but storing as well as packaging and finally sending the products seems to be a bit more problematic without being physically on site.

Is there a company or service provider who offers storage as well as handling of the parcel who is based in Germany/Europe? Or are there any other ways to organize the whole procedure without actually having a representative on site?
