Building a brand with Instagram

 

I'm starting up something new and using Instagram as the jumping off point. The whole plan is to create an Instagram page with lots of content (it's been active for six days - 58 posts, 202 followers, and 1722 following thanks to Instagress, once it reaches 2500 follows I'll start the unfollow cycle). As I build the IG I'm also building a Shopify store alongside a tshirt/poster/etc. dropshipper.

Am I going too nuts with the content right off the bat? I have enough content for months of multiple posts per day but would like to get up 100 posts before I completely automate with hootsuite or something similar? It's in a good niche with little competition and any competition is far behind or not nearly as good as what I'm posting.

I believe consistency is key here, just don't want to be overzealous in the beginning. Any input is helpful! Thanks all.
