How do I sell my expertise as a reseller?

I'm in a position where I've had success with my company in my local area (it's a business that requires you to stay local) and if I try to scale it to other cities (which is the next step), people can easily take advantage of me since I don't actually produce anything, I'm just a reseller. When I say, "take advantage of me", I mean that they can just take all my knowledge and training and go on their own and become the same resellers. Execution is the name of the game and I believe that with all the material and knowledge I provide, I can significantly increase the likely of this business working in their city.

To summarize, I can provide a turn-key business model where others can earn a significant commission, but because I'm just a reseller like they are, they can easily take the knowledge and run. So how can I sell what I know to others so they can do what I did in their cities? Or should I find and train people regardless if some of them will head off on their own?

P.S. while writing this I thought of providing a contract when I sign people to work under me to prevent them from starting competing business', I'm just don't know if that'll be enough, if it's going to costs me thousands in legal fees to go after them then it's not worth it.
