mind lending your opinion to A/B design/layout?

I tried over at design critique but only got a couple responses; all helpful but still divided.

I've got two designs of an idea I am about to try and get support for but I'm not sure which will work better.

Plus hey! Lazy Sunday morning - There's an interactive timeline of the history of the universe on here - have some fun and watch some vids :-) And a Drake equation calculator I would love some feedback on.

Any who - The purpose of the page is to describe what the project is so I can use it to pitch the idea to potential partners etc.
