My first Kickstarter is rocketing towards $75k (from a $3000 goal) and someone suggested I post over here. Details in post - AMA!

I've been playing board games all my life, and started designing them as a hobby about 2 years ago. My first project is currently up on Kickstarter: Scuttle! - The pirate card game for all ages after about 14 months of preparation.

My 6-month plan is to fulfil Scuttle! and get it into retail stores, launching a second Kickstarter as soon as copies of the game are in people's hands. My 1-year plan is to have 2-4 successful Kickstarters, regular retail sales and a reputation in the industry for producing pretty, quality games.

My 5-year plan is ambitious: Target. Walmart. Big box distribution.

Let me know if you have any questions about me, Jellybean Games, Blue Beard Entertainment, or the Kickstarter campaign!

(And since I figure it'll be the first thing asked: the art was drawn by a lovely artist I met on my first day in New York! She was drawing in a cafe, we sat down to chat, and when I told her about my plans for Scuttle! she insisted on being the artist. I'm very glad she did!)

(Also, yes, my beard really is blue.)
