I'm building a SaaS - not sure about my competitors

Success has a lot to do with your sense of being Find out how to train yourself to make money and stay in tune with your mind, body and soul

I've built a web based application for a specific client which I believe would be valuable to others in the same industry. I'm planning on selling monthly plans to use my product. I've done a bit of searching for similar software solutions and have found a couple companies in our area (location is important for this product).

However, I'm not too sure about their product beyond what their web page describes. But even then, their descriptions are fairly vague and generic. The only way to get a real idea of what they offer is to request a demo to explore the product with a sales rep. I don't want to do that since I have no intention of buying their product.

Should I just press forward with my software or do I need to really figure out what the competition has to offer before getting too deep in my endeavour?
