Parents are a Volatile Market: Advice on marketing a summer camp?

Success has a lot to do with your sense of being Find out how to train yourself to make money and stay in tune with your mind, body and soul

About five weeks ago, after having a couple of summer internships fall through, I decided to put my entrepreneurial acumen to the test. I've spent the past month building Blue and Gold Soccer Camps. You can check out my site here: http://ift.tt/1YjUHKt As a former elite youth player and licensed coach (I still play recreationally in college), I have an established ethos in the field, and thought it would be the perfect combination of passion and business. Our target demographic is beginner to intermediate players ages 6-12.

From the start, I knew I'd be facing an uphill battle. Temporally, I'm disadvantaged. The summer camp market is a matter of timing, and a lot of parents already have plans. To try to circumvent this, I priced my camp competitively. Extremely competitively. 60% lower than camps in our niche, and 40% lower than comparable area day camps. I had Blue Sombrero build my site (a great free service, but they don't really offer any third party functionality, and aren't really geared towards conversion optimization, i.e. pages are static and information can't be neatly arranged). My marketing thus far has consisted of grassroots efforts in community forums, Facebook ads, and a mild foray into AdWords, which I just switched to AdWords Express. My Facebook campaigns have reached about a 2% CTR, with total reach being appx. 18.5k. I have close to 100 clicks through AdWords, and something like 500 unique visitors. But the fruits of my labor: 1 camper registered.

This is where I'm unsure how to tackle the problem. My first camp session is June 20th, and we will run three more sessions after that, the final of which being the week of July 18th. Time is of the essence. I've run several promotions, had decent engagement on the posts, but no conversions. I started and promoted a newsletter in an effort to provide value at no cost and farm emails, and have gotten 16 people so far. So here is my question: does anyone have any experience in this domain? Should I dump as much money into online marketing as possible, or is there a smarter way? Thank you for any thoughts and help.

Tl;Dr: How would you market a summer sports camp that is struggling to convert high volume traffic on a tight deadline?
